Whether you're active ready to pull on the hiking shoes, or looking to relax and unwind in style the Mountain has a lot to offer. Here are our top 10 things to do on Tamborine Mountain.
1. Curtis Falls Bushwalk. Enjoy a quick walk (800m) directly to one of Tamborine Mountain's most conic waterfalls. If you've a hankering for a longer walk, you can stroll down into some stunning creekside rainforest for an amazing 1.5hr loop.
2. Skywalk.Enjoy a 1.5km walk amongst the tree tops. This special walk offers amazing views of the rainforest canopy and also has a 40m cantilever bridge. Be sure to hold on to the railing! Skywalk is a paid walk, and also has a great cafe for a snack before or after your walk.
3. Treetop Challenge. If you enjoy high ropes courses, or walking amongst the canopies of ancient rainforest then this is for you. Located as part of Tamborine Mountain Glades, the Treetop Challenge is a favourite for families.
4. Canyon Flyer Zipline Also located at Tamborine Mountain Glades, this zipline will definitely put some pep into your step.
5. Peddly Picnics. Rent and ride an e-bike to any of the Mountain's amazing parks, and relax with on of Peddly Picnics great picnic baskets.
6. The Brewery. A great venue to unwind at after a hard day bushwalking. The brewery is also home to Witches Chase Cheese.
7. Hang gliders Park A favourite for locals and visitors to the mountain. The absolute best place to catch a sunset. And on some weekends, is where hang gliders launch from, to sail over to Canungra. Great for the kids to roll around on the grass while overlooking the Dividing Range.
8. St Bernards Hotel A brilliant historic pub, overlooking the Gold Coast. This great pub is right beside Edges Lodges!
9. Cauldron Distillery. Stunning distillery, amongst a vineyard. Heaps of open spaces for the kids to run around, while you enjoy a cocktail or two.
10. The Knoll. One of our favourite bushwalks. Views overlook the Great Dividing Range. The walk itself is an easy grade and meanders along beside a mountain babbling stream. About a 45 minute loop.

Places to eat

Tamborine Mountain is renowned for its great restaurants and cafe culture. Here's a few of our favourites.
1. Provodore Great daytime coffee and sandwiches with a real local feel. By night on Friday and Saturday evening, enjoy a degustation to remember.
2. El Burro Mexican to enliven the senses. If you're looking to let down your hair and enjoy a few tequilas, this is the place.
3. Picnic Daytime cafe, with great coffee and food. A potter studio and small distillery are also located in these buildings.
